HELP SAVE HECTOR!
I (Ella Soryl, age 15) am walking with 11 others form Christchurch to Akaroa on the 4-6 of March 2010. We are walking to raise money to help save the Hectors Dolphins.
Hectors Dolphins are facing extinction. The Hectors Dolphins numbers have decreased by more than two thirds since 1970, going from 29000 to an estimated 7270. Hectors dolphins are now only found in small groups around the South Island. We can stop the extinction of Hectors dolphins, if everybody does their bit.
The money we raise will go directly on measures to help the ongoing survival of the Hectors dolphins (through the WWF recognized charity.)
I am personally asking you/your business to sponsor me doing this walk. To do so, simply click on http://www.givealittle.co.nz/member/EllaS#causes , then click on ‘donate now’, or text/email Ella with your pledge on 0272660429/ ella_soryl@hotmail.com. Please don’t let New Zealand be the first to let a dolphin species become extinct. Ask your parents, family, or friends to give a little. With your help, we can do this. Please forward this on to everyone on your contact list.
Thanks(:
